New York to L.A....ahhh shucks!

Yes, yes I know he's not going off the air, Conan will be taking over The Tonight Show in June. But I can't help but feel a little sad. We have watched Late night with Conan O'Brien forgoing Letterman and Leno for the most part since we've been married. We love him. His sense of humor coincides nicely with the hour it airs in which almost anything goofy makes you laugh, but on the rare occasion I have taped it and watched it later, he still cracks me up. I just hope his move from east to west coast doesn't mean a total 180 from the late night show we have come to like so much. 3 more shows of Late night With Conan O'Brien left, catch them if you can. If you don't we are now stuck with Colin Farrell....Boo.

Come Back Bernie Mac

I was very sad to hear yesterday of his passing. He was clever and witty and darn funny. I will miss you Mr. Bernie Mac.

I think I was born on the wrong continent.

Succulent Sushi
Tempting Thai
Killer Korean BBQ
My dining out preference is always of some Asian influence. Lately Tom and I have been enjoying Korean. My favorites also include Tahi and Japanese cuisine. There is just something in how the food is prepared with such care and beauty. It's as fun to look at as it is to eat. I do have an exception, Chinese food has fallen out of favor with me. I will eat it from time to time, but rarely crave it. If you have not tried Korean BBQ I highly recommend it. It's true that the marinated meat is wonderful, but I find the several little side dishes that come along with it the highlight of the meal.

Election 2008

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Why is this election not more exciting? This is the type of election people have dreamed about for years-"What if a woman or a black man became president?" In all fairness, politics has never been a passion of mine. But I do not think I am the only one who thinks this election is dare I say....boring. Obama is supposed to be so elloquent and inspiring...I just don't feel it. And is it wrong I don't even think of Hillary as a woman, she just seems like one of the guys. And McCain, well lets just say I am a republican who is sick to death of republicans. My only comfort is that you really can't go wrong with whoever you vote for. Anyone would be better than our current president(Oh don't even try to tell me you like him!).

Dreams for the Dreamers.

This is my dream car. Not a Firrari or an Escalade, but just a really nice new Toyota Camry. But alas it is not in the cards for me....yet. I currently drive a 1999Toyota Camry which I love. And the fact that there is nothing wrong with it and that there is no more payments attached makes it all the more attractive to me. I am determined to drive it until it dies or reaches 250,000 miles whichever comes first. Until them my dream car will have to wait, but I can always admire....isn't it pretty?
