Connor is the joy we knew he would be. Not a completely content baby, but I wouldn't call him fussy either. Tom and I work great as a team, since I like to go to bed early and get up early and he likes to stay up late and sleep in. Because of this, we both get at least six to eight hours each night. Nursing Connor has finally become like clockwork. But I have found I do not like to nurse all day long, so I pump and bottle feed half the time, this gives Tom a chance to bond with him too. His two month checkup was today and he was 9 pounds 5 ounces and 22 inches long. The doctor called him petite, but growing well and hitting all his milestones. The only little hiccup is that he favors sleeping with his head turned to the right, causing a slight misshape to the back of his head, The doctor says if we are persistent in putting him on his left, it should self correct in a matter of weeks. Their little skulls are still so soft. I go back to work Thursday and I am sooo sad. But nine weeks was a great chunk of time to be at home with my baby and I am so glad I got to do it. Tom is a GREAT dad. Even better than I knew he would be. He is so patient and loves his son so much. He will be a great stay at home dad. The picture above was Sunday all dolled up for church.

He is so cute!! I hope things transition well for you going back to work. Be diligent with the head sleeping thing. Not to freak you out or anything, but my cousin's baby did the same thing, and she wasn't, so when baby was 1 had to wear a helmet to reshape her head :) Miss you girl--we need to talk.
That little boy has no idea how much he was wanted and waited for. I am glad you guys are settling into a groove. Once everyone in the family figures each other out, feeling like a family is easier.
Oh and the head thing- Jack has a misshaped head. It isn't too severe, but it's kind of funny looking. It's from us putting him in the swing to sleep. But the boy would sleep for 8 hours a night from 1 month old. Was the weird shaped head worth the sleep? Um, yeah.
Cute baby! Can't wait to meet him! He won't have a misshapen head forever. It only adds character. Don't stress. You'll all be fine. You'll be stressing enough going back to work so just be peaceful. He's happy and healthy and PS almost every newborn is the epitome of what you described not always content but not fussy either. They grow out of it quickly and let us know what and why they are mad. Enjoy these times. I miss them. They go by so quickly! Love you all!

The Larrabee's of Coarsegold are so thrilled for you...Connor is just a doll and has such a cute little smile already!! Hope you will be coming to visit before we go back to Maine (end of Apr) so that we can see him in person. Of course your Dad & Vikki are so proud of him we do get new!
